I still have to find a high quality model that my clients don't care if it is being published here. I wonder if a model with more textures and bump maps would make the graphics matter more. I guess if the high-end graphics of the MacPro would really count in, the difference would be bigger. I mean your MacBook numbers are quite exactly what to expect if the MacPro makes use of 4 CPUs with 2,66 GHz and your MacBook uses 2 Cores with 2 GHz. applications like Apple's Motion make a heavy use of the graphics card.

The thing is that professional Mac users often speculate on the importance of graphics cards. what makes the MacMini and MacBook so interesting is that the Intel GMA graphics are virtually like no graphic card at all ) The graphics card appears to be "Intel GMA 950 graphics processor with 64MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared with main memory". Make a screenshot of your picture + rendering time and post it here. go to ACCamera_9 (this should be the only camera anyways) If asked, direct Artlantis to the water bumpmap make sure there are no other applications then Artlantis running But I think it is better this way, because people with low or medium hardware can take part too. I know this benchmark file is a little to simple for highend PCs and Macs.
